A couple months back I ordered my 3:55 gears but never got around to getting the install kit. I finally have the cash to get the kit and pay for the install, but don't know what kit would be better. I want to replace as many bearings and parts as possible while the rear end is torn apart.

Choice 1: http://www.cjponyparts.com/product.asp?pn=M4210C

Choice 2: http://www.cjponyparts.com/product.asp?pn=M4210B1

And if anyone can show me a link to the correct speedo gear for 3:55s I'd really appreciate it

Choice two is fine, you don't generally have to change axle bearings and such, they rarely fail before your axles will. And I've always used the shim that was already in the car. And forget about that cardboard gasket, use some diff silicone.

If you ever might decide to change gears again (cuz 4.10s are better and all), you might want to go ahead and get a Dallas Speedcal
