I want to do a Vortech on my 94 gt. What is all needed after i buy the kit? Also where should i get my kit from? Where can i get a kit without the fmu? Do i need it with the 42lb injectors?

Supercharger kit
42lb. Injectors w/MAF
255 fuel pump
Tune

I have heard I should also get a New Radiator, and some ign. upgrades so does this mean a 6al or somthing? Thanks for the help guys.

Plugs, 6al wont hurt, fuel pressure regulator and a fuel pressure gauge. You might not need a new radiator... you can do that after the fact too if you have an overheating issue.

I went with 42lb inj, LMAF, adapter for larger airfilter (to fit LMAF), boost gauge, fuel press gauge, 255lph fuel pump. Went ahead and installed a cobra intake and 75mm tb while I was at it. You will want to get one heat range colder plugs (autolite 24's will work, stock should be autolite 25's) I also replaced my plug wires and put on a new cap and rotor.

lets see, other than that a dyno tune and I guess that was it. Oh and a smog delete pulley because I had previously deleted the smog stuff and just ran a shorter belt. Turned out the belt I got with the kit was too long so I still ended up buy new belts to find the correct size.

I purchased a tuner kit from superchargersonline.com... best price I could find with a reliable source. The tuner kit leaves out the fmu and trex fuel pump.

oops, that was a typo. You don't need a 75mm tb because the cobra intakes only have a 70mm opening. I purchased a 70mm BBK tb.

where di you get your maf? and what size did you go with?

I order a lot from 50resto and some of our site sponsers... but I think I actually ordered the fuel pump and 70mm tb from american muscle/mustang tuning.

oh man, I was dissapointed. I dunno what was up... I really felt I would be looking at 300 or so. Uncorrected it put down 266/335. something like that. The sheet he gave me was with corrected dynojet #'s 281.5/355.2

seems like plenty of tq but I really would have thought the hp would be a bit higher. Making too much crankcase press so I need to come up with some type of breather setup and ditch the pcv stuff.

hmm, lets see if I can remember all the highlights...

stock bottom end, stock heads...

cobra upper and lower, 70mm bbk tb, 42lb inj, 255lph walbro, 90mm LMAF, motorcraft cap and rotor, frpp plug wires, autolite 24's,
7" K&N fabbed in fenderwell, act sensor fabbed in my ghetto custom pcv intake to blower, full bassani exhaust, smog delete... guess that pretty much does it for my setup. Oh and a v2 s-trim.

some fancy shmancy alum ds, flywheel, and spec stg II clutch I suppose, but that doesn't have any affect on the blower.
