I got this with my car, I have no intention of using it. How much do these explorer intakes sell for? would it be smarter to power wash it or just hose and scrub it? is there a lot of work that goes into repainting them?

Go spray it off real good before you put it up for sale. Make sure you keep it out of the weather as you try to sell it.

When selling things its all about presentation. If it looks like it was taking care of, you should yeild a few more bucks, but if it looks neglected people are gonna low ball the crap out of you. Not that those intakes sell for high dollar, but a little elbow grease and you will get more in return.
