So I have my car back from the body shop and I have some side scoops I need to mount. What product should I use? Double sided 3m?

if your going to do double stick tape I would use no less then 3m but otherwise if you want it more permanent then there are a number of epoxies that will work.

I used 3m on my quarter window louvers and they've held for over a year now. Before you go to apply the 3m wipe everything down I even used a scratch pad and lightly scuffed where I was going to apply the tape and it's worked out like a champ.

cleaning the area is the most important part of applying them no matter which method you use.

I ordered 3M(TM) Automotive Acrylic Plus Attachment Tape 06384 and 3m adhesion promoter. Thanks for the cleaning advice. Is alchohol and teh adhesion promoter sufficient?

should be. I am not sure I would go as far as to scuff it but don't be afraid to get after with some towels and the liquids.

The adhesive promoter was some great stuff.

Anyway, I've had them on for a week and a lot rain. Also held up well at 110 mph (in Mexico).
