what size spacers?

hey.. i'm lookin at getting a set of cobra wheels (yea theres a lot lately but not really any up here).
they're 255's all the way around.. i'm just wondering if anyone knows what size spacers i should get to make the end of the wheels flush with the body?
the car is a 97 gt.


annd would a 100shot of dry nitrous be too much for a stock engine? (well i'll have a PI intake, manifold back exhaust w/o cats, and some comp 268's)
what kind of gains would i be looking at if i went that route?

what width wheel? 8 inch wheel = 1.25 spacer 9 inch wheel = 1 inch spacer

i believe they will be a 9".. 255 tires are typically 9" wide arent they?

rim size... you can run a 255 on a 8 inch.

275s fit on 8 inch rims

ok i just looked again and the wheels are 9" wide.
come with 255/40/zr17 tires.

so a 1" spacer would be pretty much all i need?
and would that be only the rears or would the fronts be a different size?

why run a spacer up front? and 1 inch also looks good on 8 inch rims

Yes, nothing is needed for the front.

ok thats good then.. i just asked cuz i couldnt remember if it would need any or not to make the wheels flush with the fenders... i havent seen my car in like 2 months because of the snow haha
