that is strange it almost looks like it is expecting some kind of phone input. Never seen the headphone symbol before either did you put that deck in or did it come like that? You can probably reset it by disconnecting power to the deck by either pulling the fuse or disconnecting the hrn's for a few seconds. You can probably disconnect the hrns from the back while it is still mounted.

Some Fords had optional built in cell phones as far back as the 1995 Ford Explorer from what I found. Maybe our radio was used in other Fords with that option??

That would make sense since it's a 95.
Went out to lunch and the radio works again. Maybe I can get one of the old car phones for it! Rollin 90's style...

How were you supposed to connect your phone to the deck? Back then they didn't have headphone connections and Bluetooth was something your dentist was afraid of. Its probably an option they were working on and never really turned on or activated that you magically turned on.

Ford offered cellular service as an option on a few models to include the Taurus and Explorer. There was a dock in the center console where an analog phone would plug into. A special antenna was added to the car as well as a cell interface box under the dash. The service was through Airtouch. The calls would go through the factory stereo. Whew....that took some seaching to find! (Bored at my gov shutdown job)
