I was wondering what tips would look best on my car without looking ricey. I am asking you all because I love the 3 and 3.5 inch tips that most of yall have on your cars, but since I have a v6 car I dont want it to look all ricey (I know yall probley think putting dual exhuast in general is ricey) but I want something that will look good but not look ricer.

Those are the mufflers I want to run.

I used to have a 2003 Mustang V6, I had Mac Longtubes and H Pipe with Thrush Welded Mufflers on some fabbed up Summit Racing Tail Pipes. It was by far the best mufflers I liked on a V6 Mustang, and I went through a bunch of different ones. I got compliments on it all the time. They still got that kinda deep flowmaster sound with a nice twist and a much better price tag. This video sold me on getting them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZYMqxrgctE

I sold that car about a year ago and I see it around sometimes and it still sounds so nice for a V6.

That yellow v6 Mustang sounds awesome. But for the dumps idk because I like tips.

I'd go with tips, I had it all the way out the rear, no dumps. You won't be dissapointed with it. Theres not many choices for a muffler that sounds good on a V6 and the majority go with Flowmasters since they sound decent, but why be like everyone else? If I ever bought a V6 again those Thrush Welded Mufflers would go back on it. Plus you can get 2 Thrush Welded Mufflers for less than the price of 1 Flowmaster. I never had a problem with them, I loved them. I think lost some MPG because I wanna to hear them all the time LOL. Oh, plus I didn't get that massive drone like you do with Flowmasters.

EDIT: I see you live in the same state as me.

I like 3 or 3.5" tips, I don't think anyone will say its rice, it's an upgrade that looks good and can help you in the future.

Right now I have stock chromed cobra tips because I am too cheap to buy big honkin ones but I will get some when I put my new bumper on lol.

Just make sure you have long tips because you can see back pretty far.

Yeah I agree about the flowmaster things everyone has them my budy had them on his last two camaros (yes two) and has a 10 series on his f-150 and my other friend has them on his blazer AND this other guy I know is putting a 10 series muffler on his v6 Camaro witch will sound like pooo.

But yeah what part of Virginia are you from?

You cant run dumps in my commie state. Can u in VA?

I think its gotta go past the axel, not completely sure though. I don't worry about stuff for inspections anyways like cats or smog pump since my mechanic is a state inspector.

I think 3.5 tips would look decent, but I run dumps and I love them. Keeps people sorta guessing, but with slp lm1s you wont be guessing for long, lol

depends on how long they were and how good the chrome was. you would be surprised at how expensive tips get, one reason I havent gone after any yet.

rolled and slashed is my favorite, along with the weird roll thing borla does lol
