hello guys i'm putting my car back together, with a new block
pretty mild boltons, 75MAF/65TB/cobra intake/gt40yheads/1:7rollerrockers/headers/exhaust..
but want to add 24lbs injectors
comp cam XE270HR
delete egr (cosmetic)
so i thought i'd get a tune
what sort of things should i ask for/look for to be done
things like
1) speed limiter between shifts
2)?...............
thanks

there's quite a bit you can do w/ a tune as far as what they tweak. You can have the computer realize what size injectors are actually in the car, you can adjust what temp the fan kicks on, lots of adjustments to make it idle better and have better driveability.

that is addressed in any software that is used for tuning. Really, if the person tuning your car doesn't know what's best for it, then you need to find another tuner. I don't ask my customers how they want me to tune their car, I just assume they want the most power, drivability and idle that they can get. On your car for instance, I would get all your mods, and come up with a tune that would work well for you. I would turn off your egr, lower the load to open loop table, and work on your idle and part throttle adjustments. You don't tell your tuner how to tune your car, he should already know that. Just tell him what you want as the outcome, egr off, good power, idle, drivability, etc.
