what would cause high crank case pressure?

i'm not totally sure but I might suspect a couple of things. 1st- i'm blowing a lot of oil out from different places like the back of the intake, valve covers. 2nd- it only seems to be bad when I get out of the throttle after making boost. normal driving doesn't seem to cause the problem, or at least as bad. 3rd- i've seen boost numbers decreacing.
I have the pcv set up like procharger says to running a line from the valve cove to a tee that goes to the pcv valve then over by the air filter. the engine doen't smoke or burn oil under boost, only when I get off the throttle. any help would be great.

one line runs from valve cove to pcv. there is a tee to valve cover pcv and third line. third line runs over by air filter.

Valve cover-> #___________________@_______________________________________ ** <- airfilter
| ** (just sits by it)

& <- pcv valve

blow by, unaligned rings, bad head gasket,

kinda was thinking head gasket myself. doesn't burn anything on accel. if the rings were a problem it would be burning oil and it isn't, just causing high crank case pressure

that is not necessarily true. if you want to know exactly what the problem is buy a leak down tester or have someone do a leak down test on it.

You might wanna try to running just a single hose from the pcv to the upper intake behind the TB. Then a like a 3/8" line from each valve cover into a tee, then a hose from that tee to the port by your air filter. (I have a air oil seperator on the line from the pcv valve) Also I would make sure there is a "baffle" and/or a "oil splashguard" underneath the wire baffle that is underneath the pcv valve. Not having the splashguard will allow your intake to suck up oil clogging it and causing excess pressures elsewhere. Good Luck! Justin

procharger says to pull the line off the intake and cap it, probably so you wont put pressure to the crank case. i'm probably gonna pull the heads. i've been looking for a good set of heads anyways, maybe this will speed up the process.

With a blower, sometimes it's easier just to run breathers and ditch the PCV. Yeah, there are pros/cons, but many people running blowers have done it. Look over on Corral; there are a ridiculous number of PCV threads.

You would want to relocate it on the intake side of the blower.
