What's the difference

What's up peeps. In the market for a new stang and would like to know the major differences between 94-95 cobra and 96-98 cobra. I know the 94-95 cobras have the tried and true 5.0 and the 96-98 have the dohc 4.6. I know the 94-95 were underrated and the 96-98 lack torque, but what about response to mods, hp limit with stock block, and anything elsr you guys would like to throw in. Thanks.

i think the 95 cobras are pretty much like the gt's as far as mods go. the ususal h/c/i swap, or a blower are very common.
as far as the 96-98 cobras, there aren't a whole lot of "cheap" bolt ons for those cars. a lot of guys save the hassle and just put a
supercharger on it and be done. that is one thing about the 4.6s (SOHC or DOHC) they aren't as easy to mod as the 5.0s to say the
least, but they are badass cars. if i were you i would look for a lower milege 94-95 cobra, or work your ass off and step up to the
95 cobra R! only like $40K would get you one... haha
