I have some 95 cobra R replicas on my car and the DD lip on my rear wheels is staring to show signs of fading. The wheels are siver with a polished lip, what can i use on the DD lip to help bring back the shine? Are these polished lips clear coated? Do I need to have them sanded down and re cleared or can I save them myself? They are not bad yet, I wanna stop it before it becomes noticable

you'll have to determine if they're painted or polished.

if polished, I highly recommend Metal RX from Justin at Obsessive Detail.
if painted, cut and polish and seal it up with a good wax.

Sorry man but what is cut and polish? How do I tell if they are painted or polished? They dont look painted, at least the lip dont.

the lip probably isn't painted. you'll just have to feel it and see.
Metal RX is nice and easy to apply by hand.

cut and polish means using a cutting compound prior to the waxing, to restore dull clear coat and make it shine.
