I have Chome Saleens and a PHB/TA set up on my 94gt. I want to send my rear rims sent off to wheel index for widening. How wide can I go in the rear without any issues. The quad shocks are removed just as a reminder. Thanks for the info. :icon_salut:

Well, you didn't specify whether they were 17s or 18s, but I would say without modifications 11inches wide (giggity) is about the most you're getting.
Widening wheels is a little pricy, it may be more cost efficient to sell 2 of yours and buy 18x10.5s that OE Wheels sell. I've had that size rears on my car for over 2 years and they have held up well.

Theres a guy running 13inch wide fr500s on a new edge...I wouldnt think there would be too much difference.

They are 18's. Sorry about the lack of info. They are also original Saleen rims. Saleen is embossed next to the valve stem. I bought them off of a buddy who got himself into some legals problems. So I picked them up for a screamin deal. Wheel Index has a good reputation and sense I don't have alot of money into them, then an estimated $400 to widen both is worth it to me. With them being 18's is 11" the max? Thanks for the input.

seems like you'd just be ruining genuine Saleen wheels, why not sell them to make some money and buy wider wheels that you want?
