if thats what it says then thats your build date. What number is your cobra? That will tell you how close it was to the end of the run of the 5009 that were made in 94

lol. Usually the next model year comes out in the fall, so July would still be the current year most of the time I'd say, of course there are exceptions.

Interesting, I'd like to know the same for my car... Mine was built in June 98. In 99 came a new model (or rather updated) but I imagine they started production early, so halfway 1998 already. That would make my car one of the last ones that was produced. I would love to know when the last 98 model was produced, or what production number it had.

since there was no real difference between the two models with the exception of the front ground effects I doubt you will find a day when they were officially started making the 95 model. Even the ground effect change in 95 was slid in during production so they probably stopped labelling them 94's when they completed the orders for the dealers on that year car and then everything else after became a 95.

My '98 was built in '9/98.

In years past it was always fsll when the new models came out but these days many come out much earlier, like ordering a 2013 Stang in March of this year (wtf)

Mine was #42 for the 94 Cobra's. I'll look at my build date when I go out to the garage again. I think it was build in 93 if I remember correctly.
