yeah buy you need one of these:

it sounds like you have a leaking injector. it could either be clogged or broken. clogged is and easy fix. remove the injectors from the car, get some carb cleaner and clean them out. i've even soaked some in wd40 if they look like they've been sitting in the desert for the last year and installed them w/o issue. I would start w/ that and move up from there.

Umm, is the car running lean or rich? The rings don't fully seat for 3500 to 5000 miles. I've heard one engine machinist say that its not uncommon for rings to not fully seat up to 10,000 mi. Well having said all that. Doesn't hurt to check the injectors.

i could see the rings not sealing for 10 miles maybe 100, but 10000? seriously? think about that, we'd have new cars washing out bearings because of this, and you'd have blow by like a mother. pull the oil cap and put a piece of paper over it, if its blowing around like crazy you've got ring issues, if not look else where. I'd lean towards a sticky injector. did you up the fuel pressure?
try changing the oil then leaving the gas cap loose and see if that helps, it'll let the fuel drain back easier, there is a check valve in the line but it will be another easy way to tell. and the car should be running pig rich.

Honestly, the rings dont fully seat for up to 5000 miles. I did think about that. This guy is very reputable engine builder in our area. It was very surprising for me to hear him say that as well. But it doesn't matter. If he has a suck injector then its going to wash out the cylinders and do damage to the rings. So I would suggest he check the injectors first. But if he doesn't have a stuck injector, then maybe its the rings not seating fully. I should have made myself more clear.

Check the voltage at each connector for each injector, if there is a difference, then your injector is not getting enough power, and is just dripping instead of misting..It might explain your problem, and it doesn't hurt to check..and, it is something you can do yourself with only a multimeter...for free
