I don't get it, are those bad or something? I'd recommend NGK IX Iridiums. Got them in my car and they're great.

They look completely different in size/brand.

Maybe you should elaborate on your problem though.

They are the same spark plug, and the threads that keep the spark plug in the cylinder head came out with the spark plug.

Thats why the one on the left looks thicker than the one on the right.

The one on the left is helicoiled. Technically, the threads didn't come out. I can guarantee the previous owner had a spark plug blow out and he repaired it with a helicoil.

yeah they didnt install the helicoil right. The best way is to remove the head and install a new one with locktite and one that spreads the bottom of the helicoil.

This is what I thought I was going to have to do to install it correctly. I had read a thread on here where that is what was recommended. Which, if that's the case I'm going to just to the PI Swap. Already have the cams for them, so might as well.

I have a couple complete swaps for also...... lol

PM me and we can go from there!

Time sert is pretry expensive, but worth it. You can even get them at AutoZone now. They run anout $33 for the kit. They sell then as a spark plug repair kit. Its 14mm x 1.25.

Ya I did my due diligence on time-serts and heli-coils and it looks like I'm going to end up going with the PI swap. It'll be more beneficial in the long run. Thanks for your help guys!
