Where does this little feller go?!

Skinny little wire, cotterpin-like ends with “hangman’s noose, about 12” long.


Does it go in that small,round hole it’s pointing towards? Or maybe the slot down a bit lower? And how do you attach the darn thing?! Slip the Hangman’s noose part over the open end of the cotterpin-like hoop and then back on again once I get it through the hole or slot? I could’ve swore I took pix before I disassembled mine, but I guess not. Rats!

I think the loose spring (picture 2) connects to the bottom of the seat somewhere, I don’t remember where though.

I really want to say it goes right here where I circled. I’m not 100% on that, but it’s to help pull the seat forward when you pull the leaver to move it.
