Hey people I'm about ready to get a newer motor cause mine is over 2k and its tired. I'm gonna do a compression test on to see if it can just be rebuilt. Just in cases it can't what's a good websites to get one from or any yards in the So-Cal area that might be any good. I have a 96 Gt and would like to keep the 96-98 motor just with a pi swap on top of it. Thanks.

That's what I thought. I called every yard that popped up on Google and they all said they didn't have any. I'm going down there tomorrow for family so I might just roll through a yard or two to check for myself.

I see a lot pop up on my local craigslist so check that out also. Guys are always parting out cars and don't just look for Mustangs these engines came in other cars too. If I was on the market I would find one from a V8 explorer with the aluminum block and pop a Mustang PI Intake on it.

They have a few 4V Mark 8 motors at the Oceanside echology yard.
