As I am taking the covers off and diagnosing a certain problem I might have, I want to put some cams in that are right for my setup. (mods in sig)

I'm looking at compcams and wondering what would be the difference from 262AH's to 270AH's with tuning and gains and other factors. I am also wondering what valve springs are good to have and if adjustable cam gears are also good to add to the combo.

I'm not too familiar with this kind of thing. If anyone can fill me in and give me the 101 on these that would be great.

Thanks

Well i dont know much about the 262 cams.. but i have the 270ah-13 grind in my car and it runs like a train from 3500-6000.. it was a huge difference from just the pi cams. and the chop is awesome too, my car will literally shake at redlights.. lol, i never had the car tuned. but i doubt it would be hard to do

night to day powerwise and yes i had to do springs too.

Since your on bottle i would look into something with a top end operating range research before you choose.

I went with Comp cams 270AH and comp valve springs. Ended up buying trickflow lifters and replacing them all.
