I will probably stick with TF and just a stage one, But if someone comes across one that works for the right price I will get it.

Also, do I need to worry about the springs or are the ones that come in the head ok? Do the heads come with gaskets as well or do I need to get those myself?

You need to buy head gaskets. The springs on the head should be fine as long as your not going w/ a crazy cam.

no I want it to be good on the street before the strip so the cam will be something with a good idle...

1.6 is the RR size I want/need? I noticed after a little bit of shopping that there is a pretty good difference in price in the RR's. Is that the same difference like there are alot of cheap heads out there or is there operation basic enough that the extra money paid is just for the name?

Definetly get a good set of rockers scorpion or ford is the way to go there are other good ones but they won't be cheaper! The cheap ones are made of inferior material and will break such as procomp or proform. I have Scorpion rr's
