if you went ahead and did pnp npi's, a nice set of cams, and pi intake... you could easily pick that 70+

You will gain more from a well done P&P and Valve Job'd NPI head then from stock PI head.
Expect to pay anywhere from $500-$2000 for the work depending on who and what you have done.

There is a nice set for sale already done in the classifieds section for like $750.

i think PI's just because of the comp. jump

i ran 14.62 at 96 in my 98 full bolt-on geared... remember its an auto vert at FULL weight

i did Patriot stage 2 PI's, 274 cams, BBK shorties... went 13.62 @ 108.xx

a full second and 12 mph... weather was decently close, within 5*
it would went alot better, but i was on the stock stall with those big cams... 60ft was a 2.3 with no spinning, just didnt have much way down low off idle.

either way to gain 12mph in the 1/4 is a big power gain, i dont think i coulda done that on ported NPI's

That is going to include Valves/Springs/guides etc fully assembled...for just port work it would be cheaper.

This still a lot of money. My heads are ~$2500 fully CNC ported and assembled with titanium retainers and locks, and I didn't have to have a set to send them to start out with.
