You will get the most out of a Holley Systemax II and AFR combo although, the TFS is not bad either.

Ed Curtis made 375RWHP with AFR 185's, SM2 Intake, LT's and a custom cam on a 302.

I am a big fan of AFR 185's.

Please tell me you are not doing a forged internal motor on a stock block right?

Since you have a stroker I would go with either some Victor Jrs or look at the Canfield heads.......you have a little more room for cfm air flow so the bigger heads will suit you well. I prefer to go old school with time proven heads from years and years and years..

AFR 205's 8)

I know someone with a 331, AFR 205's, Edelbrock Victor 5.0, Ed Curtis Solid Cam, and YSi making almost 700RWHP.

I dont really have anything aginst the AFR heads, I just would rather have the older heads that have been around for a LONG time and have proven themselves for a long time.

well from someone that has the trick flow top end kit with a custom cam, I would def not do the trick flows again. I've had my ass handed to me (racing all motor) by guys running afr heads and the same intake. so afr's holley systemax custom cam FTW.

I agree with FTI cam (I have one myself), Systemax II intake and AFR185s.

How much money do you have exactly? That is a major factor here.

If that is all you want then rebuild your 302.

306ci
- 10:1 final CR with cc of heads
- Flat top SRP Forged Pistons (JE's budget pistons)
- Stock I Beam Rods
- Stock Crank
- Holley Systemax II Intake
- AFR 185's
- Stud Mount 1.6's
- Ed Curtis FTI Custom Roller Cam

You should be right around 350 RWHP.

Just talk to Ed, he will set you up with your goal.
