ok I'm almost finish my rebuild project. First to start the motor doesn't overheat. Don't smell any coolant through the exhaust. just raw gas and white smoke. before the rebuild when I start my car it would have a sound like it had fuel in the exhaust after seating for a bit. Before I purchased the car the owner had it sitting for months on my family lot, before that I don't know how long it has been sitting. My car has been sitting since august of 08 I heard the ECU has problem of drawing moisture that can make one or a few injectors to be stuck open. I don't want to spend money on a new ecu if I don't have to. Should I get a tweecer or some other type of tuner or get another ECU and get a tune after I break the motor in, which I can save up in that time.

Do you have cats? If you do, don't run it like that too much, you could ruin them!

How are your fluids? Try to see which one is disapearing faster.

Check your fuel pressure...

Tell us about your build, what modifications did you make?
