For I think my last 5 sets on 4 different cars, I have bought from Discount. There is 1 48 miles away, where I used to live. I bought them for their lifetime road-hazard deal. Before this set of tires, it has always paid for itself. This time, not @ all. Anyhoo, I will get 255/40-17 BFG KDW 2's. @ Disc, total is $728.00. @ tirerack, is $596.00. That's $232! There is no way I am not buying from here! Same tire, too.

I think I'll skip any extra warranty stuff this time. I don't drive around as much now. Me needing to replace 1 is not there.

**Please leave here for a couple of replies. Let me see it some.**
Thanks!!

Got a Amazing deal from Discount for the Hankook i am running now 255/45/17 z rated tires. 80 each shipped. Couldn't pass it up. They hook pretty damn good i like them. I normally buy offline and end up throwing them on at a shop i work at.

I have only bought from Discount, really. I just am new as hell @ doing this part, kinda. I think my buddy w/the '03 Cobra buys from Discount, but online? I was really impressed with them using that torque wrench thing, for some reason? After 3 of my lugs broke off, kinda pissed @ them. From now on, my work will be done by the local place here. Thanks!!

Huh, when I do it they show to be $182 a tire. When I click that from you, 162 a tire.

:dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

But I always order my tires online (315/35/17) since nobody carries them in stock and I don't have either tirerack or discounttire around me...

Why would anyone go to a place that doesnt use a torque wrench to put on aluminum wheels?

Even Sears around here does that

I've used eBay for 2 bib buys, over $300. Both times turned out just awful! Kinda off that site now. I only buy from sellers y'all recommend. The last time was that '96 Cobra hood. It was just a piece of shoe!!

I used tirerack before and actually bought a brandy new set from the classifieds on here as well. Just depends where I get the best price. My good friend works at a tire shop too so he gets me great prices too.

I go through tirerack or discount who ever is cheaper. Normally discount wins that battle with free shipping.

I would never buy body parts off ebay...but I've purchased a couple sets of tires off ebay now and have had nothing but good experiences. Nobody said 18" tires had to be expensive

My 255/35 Bridgestone Potenzas...in basically new condition were $75 shipped

My 295/35 BFG KDWs with decent tread were $150 shipped...so thats actually only $225 shipped for tires.

They all mounted and balanced perfectly and ride great.

I DARE someone to get a better set of tires for cheaper!

My buddy works at a Mercedes dealership, and he gets awesome takeoffs and sells them for ridiculous prices. I got some 285/35/18s for $50 with tons of tread. Two 245/45/17s for $60. etc. etc. It rules.
