so my friend just bought an 2003 gt with like 100,000 on it. the motor and car is all stock except for a flowmaster cat-back system and some suspension upgrades. this including lowering springs, sub frame connecters, upgraded shocks/struts and this shock tower bar mounted in the trunk on top of the shocks. oh and hes also got cobra brakes all the way around. i havent had the chance to race him yet but who do u think would win in a race. my 94 gt or his 03 gt.....all my mods are listed in the sig.

then you would win IMO cause one you prob know how to drive a stick better, you are used to your car, you will have alil advantage with your gears.

I agree on drivers race also to an extent, if you guys are even at driving then i think the '03 will win.


and a lil off topic: sell your Venom module, use the money on something that does something for your car.

You'll have him off the line with the tq of the pushrod motor...

After that, it is the drivers race - no question.

Well my 2 cents is from when I lined up at a light with an 04 GT (cobra lookalike) witha 5spd and exhaust (dunno what else.. all I could tell) and I dusted him through 2nd gear and backed off when I hit 3rd. He never passed my rear quarter panel. Shoulda seen the look on his face when he thought I had a 4.6 and I told him it was a 5.0 haha. anyways.. my car's got the following:
intake, underdrive pulleys, 9mm frpp wires, msd cap, rotor, and coil *not a difference other than running a bit smoother*, BBK shortys, O/R H pipe, 40 series dumped, and richmond 3.73's. anyways.. we raced 2 or 3 times and he never got me so idk. Def a drivers race too. Good luck... hope you eat him for lunch for bragging rights... viva la sn95's

most 99-04 gt's come with 3.08s and some of them come with 3.27s.
