Just installed my new Tokico Blues this afternoon, and they fit up awesome. While under the car, I realized my exhaust is not stock (I know i'm an idiot), had flowmasters of some kind (anybody know what model this muffler is from the pic? Thinking FM 40's or something along those lines), and the passenger side muffler had a huge hole in the top of it.

Also, the bolts that connect the driveshaft to the axle were LOOSE... I could have taken them all out by hand, so I tightened them all up, hoping my driveshaft won't fall out anytime soon.

Lastly, I was just wondering about the U looking cradle under the axle, that has over an inch of play in it. Is this just a safety backup in case something fails, or what is its purpose?

Thanks for the input guys!

Some claim that you'll feel a significant vibration above 80mph without the weight

It will dampen vibrations is your pinion angle is off due to worn out control arm bushings. If you remove it and you're rear geometry is in good working order, you won't notice much

Just some patent numbers... nothing on model of muffler at all... I'll get a better look tomorrow, as I am taking it to the muffler shop to get some new ones. I'm moving to Kansas on thursday, so I'm kinda stuck with what they have in stock tomorrow morning for their replacements...

Just got back from the muffler shop... Not gonna lie, I had a grin the whole way home. The FM 40's were completely shot, so I'm guessing that they had been pretty restricting as far as power production goes, because I barely stepped on the Cobra and spun out. The shop only had Xlerator VX series as far as performance mufflers, so I wasn't able to get anything *name brand*, but I'm pretty happy with the way it sounds as of now.
