I've got them on my 95 and really like them. I've had them with a catted x, o/r x, and o/r h and I would say they sound best with the o/r x.

I have catted x with magnapacks. I have pipes to take my cats out and run an off road x, but I'm sure you will still get a drone.

I have them on my 95 GT...with stock cats & they are perfect! A super nice deep rumble at idle & really loud at WOT!!!! Hear you for blocks but sounds oh so sweet! Gives you that muscle car tone inside at all times but you can still hold a nice conversation going down the freeway! Only while at full throttle does it drown out your companion (nice to do at times! hehe...) I don't consider it a drone at tip in on the throttle at speed because the tone is deep & not tiring or the least bit objectionable...I'll try & get a sound clip on my camera soon for you. I have had many many people chase me down to compliment the Magnapacks! So first try with stock cats & see how it is the buy the midpipe of your choice if you are not satisfied! Might save a couple bucks.

I couldn't believe how many cats there are on the stock pipe. When I first bought my car, it was quieter than my mom's Volvo.

When I had my Xpipe I had them cut the cats off the OEM pipe and stopped at the salvage yard on my way home, got $75 ea for them which covered a huge chunk of the money I paid for the Xpipe itself

Magnaflow/packs will be a 1000 times better than Blowmaster anything. I ditched the stock manifolds, custom H pipe and flowmaster American Thunder catback for a set of American Racing longtubes, catted X and Magnaflow catback without tails and I am very pleased with the sound.

Trust me it gets old really quick. It sounds good for awhile then its just annoying. I'll never go w/out cats again. The amount of power you lose is so little that it does not matter (besides the factory 4 and 6 cats)
