I'm getting ready to order a nitrous kit. I'm trying to decide between the zex 125 or the nx 150 plate system. I'm an automatic(soon to be stalled). I want to know what kit would be the safest to run on my car. 98 gt2v full bolt ons pi swap stage 2 cams. Will running a eddy jr intake help from blowing my intake incase a backfire? Also anything I should add for my kit. I'm thinking I'm gonna get a wot switch. Window switch to run 3000-6000rpms. Blow down tube. Bottle heater. And pressure gauge and line purge. I'm open to any advise or suggestions.

Is it a returnless fuel system? IIRC the 98 is when they went to the returnless.

Look at your fuel rails and see if there are 2 lines connected to it on the passenger side. Should be return rails with a return less pump.

Nitrous back fires are mostly caused by the mixture puddling in the intake at a low rpm. You can get jets (25-300) for any horse power if that's a determining factor for you so The 125/150 isn't a big deal. From a glance it looks like you have everything I did. I also had a shift light that would turn on 500rpm before my nitrous.

I would get a bottle heater too.

Mine looks like this. I do plan on getting a bottle heater too.

You have a return style fuel rail. I am not sure where to two in for the fuel line if youre getting a wet kit. 98 fuel systems piss me off.

Yes it's on the drivers side. And yes it sucks it's a bastard year. So will it make my install a pain in the ass? They make a special fuel pump for my car i might get that pump or if it's easy enough switch it over to returnless
