probably makes about the same power, but the drivability is way better, and the extra RPM's really make the car fun to drive.

Those 4V's move, in my '94 Mark VIII 60 MPH was like 4000 RPM in Second (Probably similar in the Continental)- IMRC's have opened up and you're just along for the ride as the yacht thunders down the tarmac.

That the Continental kept up doesn't surprise me, I wouldn't feel too bad about it.
