4r70w?? I'd assume so aode is nearly identical minus a few internal electronics and the actual gear ratios..

If I go carb'd will it still work?

Aode/4r trans needs a controller, unless you go full manual valvebody, which it would just make sense to get a c4 or something without electronic controls, or you can get a bauman trans controller but they are pricey, like 5-600 bones..

get a "simple" c-4/6 they are cheap these days. im assuming if you wanted to throw a stock v6 tranny on it it likely does not make much HP so a stockish c-4/6 will do.
