Window making popping noise

Have a 03 drivers side window making a popping sound when I roll it down it is power, didn't know if maybe a gear is busted or of track a little bit just started today haven't had any problems in the past any help would be appreciated

could be either, could be both. Door panels are not too hard to take off to get eyes on it and to see what is going on. Have you ever taken them off?

Yes on my 96, hopefully get them off this weekend to see what's going on

Not only that, these cars sometimes need a swift beating to make the windows function happily again
