Windsor to Romeo switch

What will be involved with a change from my 4.6 Windsor in my 1999 GT stick to a 1999 4.6 Romeo from a police interceptor auto?

You need to find the right flywheel, that's about it.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention however, that a 99 Crown Vic engine is crappier than the one you have now.

^+! If I'm not mistaken, the '99 CV's were still nPI even in the Interceptors.

That is correct Crown Victoria's and Grad Marquis didn't come out with PI until mid 01+

Cop car's are only special for the oil and powersteering coolers they used above base Crown Vics anyway

as stated the flywheel. everything else bolts up. its a direct 1 for 1.
