Well, after an abnormally warm November in my province(we got up to 17 celsuis, average is -2 celsuis) they have snow finally predicted for Monday which means bye bye to my car for 4 long months :(. It's a good thing though, as I am pulling out my run down 5.0L(just turned over to 224000kms today, roughly 139k miles) and putting in a fresh 306 from LMR. Since I am pulling the engine, I am putting in the following with the new engine:

306(.30 over 302 block) from LMR
TrickFlow Track heat top end kit
30lb injectors
new roller lifters/water pump/oil pump etc.
Smog pump delete(have an O/R pipe now, no need for the extra lines)
75mm Throttle body
75mm PMAS Mass air flow calibrated for the injectors
new motor/tranny mounts
Steering rack and pinion/Steering pump
Cast iron flywheel and new FRPP Throw-out bearing(mine has been dying for 4 months now :( )
T5 tranny rebuild kit
Aluminium Driveshaft(already installed)

What are you guys doing to your stangs this winter? And on the subject, should I get some more stuff for mine as I have the engine out?

Picture is worth a thousand words right.... here you go, and the pic with the heads and the block at the end are NOT the same blocks.

Digging those coilovers duff! I forgot to add that I MIGHT get my suspension down before spring, but I don't know, as money is an issue and I have to start saving my tools/toolbox since I am in grade 12 :(. I have all the engine parts except for the steering rack/pump and the top end kit/block still need to be bought. My suspension will be Bilstein HDs all around with front coilovers, MM c/c plates, MM LCAs, FRPP UCA, MM subframe connectors, and I still haven't decided on rear springs yet :p.

Enjoying my shorts weather to. Oh no-snow all year round season here. Nothing to the car. It's come to a dead stop as I may try to play with something else, or just give up on cars for right now.
