I have a 96 gt 248a package. I know the car is still prewired for fog lights but my question is it wired for power

nope. not there. if you do a search, i posted a how-to on swapping for cobra/export mirrors. i have lots of pictures of the inside of my door and the only wiring harness in there is for the mirrors.
embrace your 248a, it will last a lot longer than the powered 'stangs.

P.S. my brother bought me aftermarket electric door locks for my birthday.... 4 wire install. if you want power locks badly enough, google them and get some aftermarket stuff.

Woody- I thought the same thing did some poking around and couldnt find anything.
MustangChris- I like the 248A thats why I bought but its killing me in resale and trade. I bought at tax time for $6,000 with 57,000 miles and I went to trade it on an new edge convert. and the dealer offered me $2,000 for it and said he would give me $5,000 if it had power options.

I did walk..... I worked in car sales for years.
oh. gotcha... did he pull the good ol' "this one's headed to an auction lot in santa fe tomorrow, it's a shame you're not buying today..." lol.

5k if it had power options is BS. Go private sale and you will find some nut that is lookin for it.

It was 100% BS. The only thing that really bothers me is the color. I jumped on this car cuz of the package and the miles.
