Blown #8 fuse caused speedometer and odometer not to work

I didn’t see this anywhere else but correct me if I’m wrong about that. I recently blew the 10amp #8 fuse in the interior fuse box (the one that has courtesy lighting, power mirrors, stereo, door chime, door locks and keyless entry). It caused the speedometer and odometer to not work. It also caused my lock switch to turn on the dash lights. Finding the problem (cut and touched wiring for courtesy lights) and fixing then putting in a fuse fixed everything. Haven’t seen this anywhere else so I thought I would post. Thank you!
