I am running GT40P heads on my track car and no matter what I do I can't keep from melting wires on the drivers side head due to the angle of the spark plugs. I'm looking for a set of heads to replace them, preferably a set of standard GT40's but if someone has AFR's or Dart's for the right price that works too. Twisted wedge are out because I don't want to replace my pistons. Anyway, let me know what you got.

really? I always thought there was an interference issue when using stock pistons, if not I'll be happy with a set of twisted wedge heads as well lol anything to get rid of these gt40p's with out going to stock heads. not to mentions twisted wedge, afr, and dart would all be a huge improvement.

Yea there one of the best heads for stock bore 302's Cus of the twisted wedge design they an have bigger valves and not require fly cutting pistons

Wont you have to change out your headers when you ditch the P heads too? I thought the P heads forced you to run a different header than the norm.

You do know Mike (98viperblue) has a set of heads he got from me. There GT40 Heads that were ported to identical specs to a set of Thumper Gt40 heads. He only wants $275 shipped !!!!!

yes and no, they are still 302 headers that will work with pretty much any 302 head, but only certain ones work with the p heads.

That's awesome Win, thanks for the info I'm going to PM him

as they said trickflow does not require any mods to your pistons, the twisted design just allows for bigger valves. I just put a set of 170s on mine and dropped her off half an hour ago to get tuned but it has not been running all that badley really.
