You should look at a nexus 4, they're fairly cheap and still an amazing phone.

i may be getting one and i have a droid DNA that i may get rid of.. i'll have to ask my dad first, but it's essentially the S3's bigger brother, just the HTC version. S4 Pro Quad Core CPU (S3 is a dual core), and it has a better camera and build to it. I'd take 400 for it, and i'll throw in an otterbox with it if i do end up getting rid of it..

It's rooted and running AOSP right now, but i can put it back to factory and re-lock the bootloader if you'd like me to.

I'll think about it man, i've heard good things about that phone too. I just got comfortable with the s3 and i wanted to run the trident electra case with it. and i dont think its made for your phone. i'm glad you rooted it and put a aosp on it too. i would perfer a rooted/broken vs a stock. I have the thunderbolt right now and it sucks major ass. even with it overclocked and whatnot its still garbage, also can't get a strong 4g connection and i live in one of the best lte coverage areas in the coutnry tooo.

I had a tbolt way back when. I hated that phone aha. Think of the DNA like a supercharged tbolt. I'm starting to like this phone a lot again though, developments just picking up again

I'll admit the tbolt was ontop of its game for a long time, but after your phone came out and the s3/s4s did it just demolishes it. This is my second one too so i just wanna throw it threw a wall. i've had a upgrade for a long time but can't use it because i'm grandfathered unlimited data and wont change that

Yeah I gave up my unlimited for the S3. Thing shattered on me in November, so I bought a DNA. The bolt was great at first, but when the 2nd gen lte chipsets came out, there was no reason to put up with it any longer haha. I have a phone addiction.... I've had a moto RAZR (the flip phone lol), Samsung fascinate (galaxy s 1), tbolt, gnex, iPhone 4, sgs3, and now the DNA in that order. I can't wait for the next flagship devices to drop. I'd like to own another nexus device. I had the best experiences with that phone by far. But anyways, I've found that I don't burn through my 2 gb of data like I thought I would. I usually have 500 mb left at the end of the month.

Thats sick dude. i've had a ton of phones too. i need to get on that next generation. this tbolt consistiently fails and drops data.

yeah those single band chipsets are shit compared to the newer technology. it was cool to say i had 4g before anyone even knew what it was though aha

I'm on my third phone. Had the last one for 5 years. Samsung flip phone in 2005, then the Gzone type s (5 years). Just got the gzone commando a year and a half ago. They all still work......

i'm not a huge fan of rugged phones myself, but they're probably a whole lot more convenient

There are faster, better phones out there. But my theory is, if a phone today has more technology than the first space shuttle, why does it break when I drop it in a puddle? Lol
