copy and paste your log... make sure you check the following PIDs (datalog items): RPM, MAF AD counts, Short Term Trim 1, Short Term Trim 2, Load, Idle air integrator, ISC duty cycle, battery voltage, fuel source, spark source, fuel pump duty cycle, and pressure drop across injectors.

wow i think my brain just dumped on me or i got really confused.

how can i log all of those? i know it will log them but it only shows like 5 gauges? will it show all of those on the graph?

explain in more detail sir davey. like i check all those PIDs and then check mark all of them. then log it and then save the log to the computer and post up on here??

also, what is the correct way to log? do i want to go for a drive and do WOT? or just let it idle or sit still and rev it up? sorry but ive never done this so i dont know what people are looking for at these graphs.

ok will do that.

is this to determine A/F ratios?? just trying to learn as i go because i have NO clue what I am looking at when i am data-logging.. i just see bunches of numbers and a graph moving.

ok question dave man, my tuner just told me to go find me somewhere and get a 4th gear pull at 2000 RPM up to like 5,000 or 6,000.

he said thats the best way to do it when not on a dyno but im not really liking that because i dont want to get my car up to 150mph here..

soooooo would a 3rd gear pull 2,000 to 6,000 produce the same results? im not doing this 150mph BS. some guys may have no problem going that fast on the street but im not going to.

Just go get on the freeway kinda late so no one is on there and find a spot that has no on ramps for a couple miles and slam that shit. Its fun going 150 anyway lol.

I did it for mine, but I was hella nervous. I already have a 155 in a 55 ticket on my record.

its not the traffic im worried about, i mean thats 50% of it but going 150 is what i dont want to do.

if i get pulled over going 70 over on the highway.... my car is getting sold i can tell you that now. and... my car doesn't feel very stable if i go that fast. im waiting till i can just put it on a dyno. 150mph is 220 feet per second... thats 73 yards in 1 second which is almost a full football field. you may think your in control of your car but if something goes wrong, you have no control...

i think about that stuff for some reason. i think my dad gave it to me cause he does the same. its not that im scared to travel at 150 mph but not on an empty street at 1am.. id probably be dead before anyone got to me. ima pay like 35 bucks and get it dyno'd a few times this weekend. then ill see my horsepower too.

same, I don't like going that fast... maybe on a track, where if you lose control it's not always certain that your car will get it's shit fucked.

yeah a track would be a different story.. i mean you still have concrete walls next to you buy you also have emergency crews waiting if something does happen.

idk i just think a 4th gear pull to 150+ is stupid on the street. fastest ive ever been is 135 on the street and ive done that once. it freaked me out. the fastest i ever get to anymore is 100-110 and im done... i do that RARELY..

and ive always wondered this, (sorry if its a dumb question) but is it safe to brake in a street car like mine at 120+ mph? or do you want to let it coast back down a bit (to like 90 or 100) then brake? ive heard its not safe but it sounds kinda dumb to me.

sounds like a plan, and I would slam the brakes at that speed. too much use will heat up and warp the rotors.
