your choice of tires

hi i have a 1996 gt mustang and i currently have 315/35/17 nitto drag radials and was considering getting some opinions and switching real soon if there are any better. of course price plays a toll as well. the reason i am willing to move away from the drag radials is that they pick up every rock on the road and they dont last very long. dont get me wrong they hook up. but at the track i can still roast them out of the hole until mid 2nd gear. within i say the next month i need new tires and need to figure out which route i am going to take. thanks for reading my topic and if you have a opinion please let me know.

If you want another DR skip the Nitto junk and get BFG's or MT's

for a really good street tire i love my Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's and i also like the BFG street tires.

If you want a good street tire get BFG kd or kdw (if you drive in any rain). They are good street tires.

I love my goodyear eagles just not the price. and it has a little of a rough ride (but that a mustang). I have heard kdw are really good.

dont get pirelli's! haha had 3 sets of them on the rear, all 285/35's and they suckkkkkkk.. hahah

i get them because for some reason, everyone always has them used for cheap. guess cause their treadwear is 160 and they blow..

im just to poh to buy me a set of new tires.. college owns me.

BFG drag radials is what I have run on all my stangs for the last 6 or 7 years now........they are super sticky and hook like fly paper. Just beware of driving in the rain with them ;D life of the tire sucks too, they are SOFT

im a fan of the cheep, affordable, and well hooking hancook venturus tires.. had a bunch of them and they did real well suprisingly. I'm to poor to buy new tires as well, so i just took the free tires my buddy got me from the BMW dealership down here.. 5 brand new venturus 245/45/17's O0 :banana:
