Well, my girlfriend has a 02 gt auto, 105k, only mods are bbk cai, and flowmaster with o/r hpipe. Well ever since she has had it, it seems like when it would get in a higher gear at low rpms it would sputter some. But the harder you ran it the better it ran. Well here recently it started doing it very bad, I was and still am certain that is at least one coil pack. I changed all of the sparkplugs and boots, and hooked a scan tool on it. Only thing that I get is the Keep Alive Voltage too low, I have researched and researched this and understand that is a constant voltage to the pcm that keeps it from losing memory. Well I have checked the battery and alternator and all of the fuses everything checks out good. So at the time that I changed all of the plugs and boots, i went ahead and cleaned the MAF and the sensor in the intake tube right above the maf. I cleaned them with MAF cleaner. Now all of a sudden the car has a "loping" idle and will almost push through the brakes when in drive. I checked everything, connections, vacuum lines. ect... I am lost, I am pretty sure that I am the cause of the bad idle problem, but can not figure out the low rpm miss.. Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

I have seen where a problem can come from a weak alternator and/or battery. Also, check the injectors, make sure that your injectors are not clogged or spitting instead of spraying. If your going to clean the MAF sensor, make sure you use Brake Parts cleaner or Eletrical Component Cleaner. This way you don't have any extra residue on the sensor. I have also seen that the MAF cleaning stuff can leave an oily sheen on the sensor.

Hmm, I may try some contactor cleaner it drys up pretty quick and you can spray on live circuits. Im getting 14.3V from alt to ground while running, and battery also has 14V. I just learned yesterday that the car was in a major flood 5 years ago and cosidered a total loss on a Carfax, so that may have something to do with the electrical problem. She just bought a 06 GT, so I can spend more time figuring this out hopefully.

ewww... ok, Make sure you also check the ground strap that goes from the drivers side motor mount to the frame. Just make sure that it is making a good connection. Other than that, you might have to wait for a check engine light. I have heard that O2 sensors can make a car act stupid also but there is alot that can be messing up.. It might be a little trial and error to figure it out.
