03/04 termi steering wheel swap in sn95 ??

I have a 95 gt with a worn out saddle tan color wheel and tan air bag that just makes the interior look like crap.. so I bought a 03/ 04 double thick padded steering wheel in color black and also bought an black air bag for 94-98 mustang. now my question is will this be a simple swap ? take old two items out and the newer style 03.04 wheel can take place of the older steering wheel and with air bag.. being the black new one I bought is from a 94-98 should plug into my old harness from old wheel ? any help will be great before I start taking apart my steering wheel and air bag.. disconnect battery first things I always do.. thank you again for any help

You sure that steering wheel is black and not charcoal? The 99-04's didn't have Black interiors.

And yes, it should be a simple swap.

yes charcoal not black sorry.. so only way the swap wouldn't work is if the air bag was from years 99 - 04 ? it wouldn't plug it right ?

To my knowledge they're exactly the same iirc.

I have a 2000 steering wheel + airbag on my 94.

Should be a direct swap.. Be careful that airbag don't pop in your face.
