Does the cruise control, horn, and all that stuff work?

Good work, but FR500 wheel FTW. :)

Paul.

Weren't you asking about it earlier? Did you get the seat wired up and all that mess?
yea, i was gonna post the pic on that thread but i couldn't find it, so i just started a new one. i did get the seat wired up and working. the only problem i have is the forward/backward switch is reversed. guess i crossed a wire somewhere but its no big deal. i can live with it. lol

What did it take to put the steering wheel in? I've wanted one since the '05 came out. Can the airbag be made functional?

its a pain in the ass. the new steering wheel dosen't fit the old shaft so it had to be modified. it also had about a 1" gap between the back of the wheel and the trim on the column. i cut a section off of my old wheel and used it as a spacer to fill the gap. its not a perfect fix, but it'll keep the look somewhat clean for now. as for the wiring, most of it is in a plastic case wound into a coil behind the wheel so you can turn the wheel without cutting wires. i had to cut the front of the case off because it stuck out too far and got in the way of the new wheel. it was a good bit of work not having anything to go by, but i think it was worth it. i used an airbag delete on mine.

I would have just left it with the seats... The steering wheel is a bit too much...

I never thought the new seats will fit our cars,do the doors shut fine or the seat rubs on the panel?

Would love to see more pictures. I wanted to do the steering wheel as well. I though also of the old SVO three point steering wheel. I have it in my 89 and love it much more than the stock two spoke that it came with.

Looks good. Did you do front and rear seats or just fronts?
