Cars been running the stock intake w/75mm MAF its tuned for a JLT RAI and 90mm MAF, this is Similar but MAF is 102MM so the car won't run for shit with MAF plugged in im actually running it un plugged and the car runs great.

Me being the baller i am i ended up blowing $13 on the new RAI setup. Let me know what you think...

Thinking about it two hard, Not ram air like a MACH 1 Ram air... Most under hood air intakes are called RAI and most fender well intakes are CAI. Its been that way for a while. I didn't make it up.

Plugged in it won't run, but unplugged it runs fine....

Probably because you have to tune it. Getting a shit load more air ... the metering area is much greater.

I thought ram air is as they said more like a mach1 or the firebird with the WS6 packaged where the intake came out of the hood just behind the grill, think of a hood scoop. The idea is that when you are at speed, it "rams the air" into the intake and makes it breath easier. They made one for fox mustangs that came out on the bottom but I don't think it really did anything.

So you are not concerned that it runs better with out the maf?
