What would it take to make my '94 vert auto a 13 second daily driver? Well the cheapest way possible that's reliable. Any info is new info to me.

^^Good idea, but that MAY not be the cheapest way Troy. I have a 1994 GT with cheap bolt-ons now, CAI, pulleys, MSD ignition, shorty headers, o/r x-pipe, flows...what do I need to add to this list to make it 13sec easiest(and cheapest).

yeah, but a fart can is better.
Seriously though, you can find a really inexpensive s/c for the 5.0. Thats the way I would go

well, I bought it used for like 2k (including gt40 lower intake and flowzilla/blowzilla intakes)
I thought it was a pretty killer deal. It only had 6k miles on it and now has about 6500 miles on it

Do gears really drop your e/t that much?

i had a friend here in denver with a stock 98 with PI swap (untuned) he ran 16.1
i just installed my gears (4.10s) on my bolt-on 96 non-PI (factory tune) and i ran 15.5

he later installed 3.73s and got a mail-order tune and ran a 14.7

That may be a cheap upgrade then, alright since I have an auto do I go 4.10 or 3.73?

auto = always 4.10
5 spd = 4.10 is pretty stout.

autos tend to take 4.10s pretty well. thats waht i suggest. if you dont have much highway driving in your life, do 4.30s
if you have alot of highway driving, looking into 3.73s...
if you have moderate highway driving get 4.10s, you wont regret it.

i met a guy with 3.73s in his 99-04 and i would beat him by a half car or so and he would say "i wish i would have gone 4.10s"
