WAIT! Do you have a cobra and a 94 GT Auto Vert? Meanin the mods in your sig are for the cobra right? And is anyone accounting for the fact that it is a VERT?

I would think that a junkyard gt40 upper and lower, and heads, with some decent port work. And a nice used cam would have to get you close. I ran 14.7 with nothing but catback and a mid pipe, my 60 foots sucked, and it was pretty hot and humid :dontknow:. You could probaly get the gt40 stuff for less then 200, and I've seen cams go as low as 80 a set. If you do the port work your self you could easily get all of this for 350-400.
Gears deffinatly!!! There are always deals on gears goin around

Alright let me clear all this up, my sig if for our(my dad and my cobra, our autocross car) now my vert is my daily driver. I listed all my performance mods for power earlier in the thread. Yes it's a vert so it weighs more, so Im wondering how do I get into 13's without making it completely pointless on the street and for the cheapest way possible. So like a h/c/i setups that can put me into the 13's will drag radials and gears help also?

I would start with gears and drag radials. the nice thing about drag radials is taht they will work on helping ETs till 1000 HP lol. then you might need wider ones :p

Do gears really drop your e/t that much?

Yes. With 3.73s, a CAI, intake manifold, shifter, and DRs I went 13.99 with 100% full weight and bone stock suspension. That wasn't something I had to work too hard at either.

Well, I have just about all bolt on's you can imagine plus 4.10 gears, with some lightened components on the car with drag radials. I could only muster a 14.5 @ 95. Mean while my 94 lt1 t/a turd, runs consistent 13.8's @ 100 bone stock on stock tires with 150xxx miles. Bottom line, I do not think you can get your gt vert auto, to run in the 13's without actually touching the engine (hci, nitrous, blower).

Alright well how exactly can I do that 95Grandtouring5.0?lol, that's what I'm trying to figure out. I'm pretty sure right now my car is super slow, I'm not asking to make a 10sec monster, I just want a normal respectable time.

You could always get some gt40p heads off an explorer, along with an explorer intake. With that stuff, plus gears and bolt ons should put you into the 13's. Also perhaps a shift kit and a stall for the auto.

I have a 94 gt vert but with a 5spd. With AFR165's, Tmoss ported Cobra intake, 70mmTB, 24lb injectors, Mac shorty headers, BBK off road x pipe, Flowmaster cat back, UD pullies, CAI and a mail order chip my car went 13.9's with a 2.73 rear and easy shifting. I just put in 3.73's and it should be in the mid 13's now. I left the stock cam in the car since my wife drives it and i wanted it to stay pretty driveable. After i save up some bucks, hopefully over the winter, i plan on getting an Ed Curtis custom groun dcam and a dyno tune. Not sure how much the auto is going to hurt you but i have always heard they eat up a good amount of power.

Just buy a cheap wet kit, hit it with a 125 shot, and you're there.

spray it will be the cheapest way, hands down.

Stipulations with that though..

You have an automatic. That stock converter won't last long with boost/spray.
