Alright, well later on as I use a wet kit, would it be good in the long run?

For under 2K I would jump all over sloponys setup. A new Kenne Bell for our cars is 3100, a new Vortech is 3040. Shopping can find some lower prices on used setups. Power adder I think would be the easiest way to get into the 13s. Nitrous technically would I guess but only for brief amounts of time, Id rather have that potential on tap at all times. :headbang:

Alright...well for the s/c, that may be out of the picture. Dad already said no, if he can't have one nobody can, haha. So I have to do this as far under radar as possible. So like a h/c/i setup would be the safest. Soembody earlier on said gt40p and explorer intake would get me closer. How much closer are we talking?

If you sell your s/c because of my thread I get a cut of the money, haha

$1900 and it can be yours  I had a small stall, cam, and exhaust and I walked all over my buddy's 96 cobra with all the bolt ons and gears and he runs consistant 13.1x and a best time of 12.86

You need a converter.

1. The 1500 stall sloshy converter is hurting you.

2. N20 is gonna blow it to pieces.

3. With GT40 Head/GT40 intake and a cam with a converter and a good driver will get you MAYBE 13.8 - 14.0

4. Gears, Gears, Gears

5. Shift Kit

6. Trans cooler

What stall converter do I need then? And where can I find one that's for the AODE, not the AOD?

I wouldn't go any less then a 2500 Stall.

I chose 2500...I wish I would have gone a little higher but oh well. When the time comes for a supercharger, that will raise the stall too.

There fixed.

Other then that little blurb LAFENATU is spot on.

If your just wanting a little boost I'd go with a dry kit (as it is FAR more reliable then a wet kit). Unless you want a larger boost and wanna really spend the money putting together a nice wet kit (switching from a nozzle setup to a plate setup, bottle heater, purge, window switch, gauges, blow down tube, dyno tune).
