1993 Mercury Sable Won't Start

Yeah it's not mustang related but I could use some help if possible. The sable I sold my parents when I bought my mustang won't start. So far spark plugs, wires, rotor cap, and batter have been replaced. Those all helped but it didn't start again after a few days. So my dad was thinking it's fuel related pump or just the filter....so anyone know where the filter is? My knowledge of engine maintenance doesn't go very far so any help is appreciated.......thx

the fuel filter should be very close to the gas tank. i would also double check all electrical connections. i've seen cars
not fire up for something as simple as dirty battery terminal ends. check all the main components, possibly take the
alternator down to your local auto parts store to get tested. as my friend and coworker says about diagnosing, "start with
the easy stuff" O0

If you tihnk if the fuel pump do this..... Have someone get in the driver seat and get ready to turn the get to the ON possition but don't crank it. Get down near the tank and tell them to turn the key. You SHOULD hear that puppy buzz a little which means it's priming the system. If you don't hear anything I might be the fuel pump.
