I need to replace the fuel filter, should I replace any of the connectors or fuel lines/tubing that is connected to it? They do not appear too worn or brittle but they have never been replaced. Also, any other advice would be appreciated. In advance, thanks for the help.

Unless there is something wrong I wouldnt. Your gonna lose a good amount of gas. So however you wanna go about that part, I took my gas cap off just for peace of mind. Just jack up the car and if I remember right the only thing you will need other than that is a flat head screw driver. Good luck.

It's extremely simple, the first thing I did when I got my car. Just as long as we're going with the don't s I wanted to chime in. Don't lay directly under the thing when you take it off. It pours a lot, and gas doesn't taste good.

Good luck

It also makes your eye's burn. If you relieve the pressure at the rail it won't come out so badly.
