The last minute struggle before the drag and drive has been real . Threw a McLeod rst in the car last night finished at 1:30 am . Then off to the dyno today that was an eventful struggle. Spark blow out , tightened up the gap , then threw a fresh set of plugs in . This new engine is a blast put 250kms on the car after the dyno session . Drove it back home wife took the truck and trailer back early .

Oh hell yes! That’s awesome power
Thanks dude I’m super happy . When it made 545 at 5 psi and 4800 rpm my tuners like you built a monster because his dyno is known to be stingey or others are just read high . The first time I dyno’d my car with him I was so sad lol . The blower comes to life around 5000-6500. I’m Goona end up going with my 3.50” pulley should see around 15 psi after the drag and drive .

And what’s the difference from last time it was dyno’d?

302 to 351
D1sc to D1x
Same boost level?

302 to 395 , the 302 usually ran 15-18psi on the d1sc the last time I drove it in October or November it made 22psi lol . Engines a lot different , higher compression bigger heads and intake better cam . It’s 10.28:1 compression

Well now the drag and drives complete and I figured out the old tfi stuff and msd box isn’t going to keep up anymore probably the cheap lmr 351w swap distributor. I’m doing coil near plug with a Holley dual sync distributor and Holley harness 558-307 with some Ls truck coils .

That’s what I like to hear!

Also, be weary of the dual sync. There have been a lot of failures. If it were me, I would probably look in to a 36-1 trigger wheel setup and a crank sensor.
