Time to get the car back together after my last tack outing . 31 spline Yukon axles , rebuilt explorer 31 spline carrier, and 3.20” blower pulley because why not .

Well from the sounds of things I got some bad news . My once friend that did the Holley on my car and had the heads redone when I lifted a head years back I’m thinking sold my rods and pistons . I spoke with the guy that runs the machine shop he used to use the guy hasn’t brought him anything since 2022 . I messaged tony asking for my parts back and id take a block elsewhere . The guys response was k , I since haven’t heard from him for 3-4 days meanwhile he met a guy at the track yesterday to lend him some wheels to race .

Dude, that’s unbelievable. Was he supposed to be building a block for you? What parts were you using?

Je forged pistons and some light weight eagle rods about 1700 dollars in maple syrup funds . Yea he was supposed to be having the block machined and doing the assembly for me .

Yea I’m trying to get the parts back because it’s not even in motion . I gotta local machine shop that can have the block done in like a month . Way better lead time

My good friend worked at the machine shop I’m gonna be using . Few others have used them as well . It’s 4 hr drive for the friends that used them . He’s about 1.5hrs away from me . Just a simple 306 balanced rotating assembly Goona spin 7000rpm with the victor jr heads and intake . I’m finally going to add a flex fuel sensor so I can drive it everywhere again.

Some pics from last weekend at the track . Cars going to get retuned Wednesday or Thursday just waiting for confirmation on what day works best for him . Slapping a 3 bar map sensor in the car because the 2 bars maxxed and hitting the track Friday . Goona float the valves to the 1/4 mile 4.56 life lol . Will be going down to a 4.10 this off season . Planning to run the track Friday and street race Saturday . My friends wedding is in 2 weeks after that the engines coming out for a lot more cubic inches

I’ve done a drag and drive with it already . Was supposed to do one this year but my new job prevented me from making it. I had already paid the $450 entry fee . I’ll be doing 1-2 next year . Planning to try and get in the redwood rally next season

Sick he’s a bad dude . Puts way more miles on that car then we do on are much slower units while running mid 8’s in the 1/4 . Super cool dude .

I’m about to pull the engine on this thing in favour of a 393 stroker use my victor jr heads because everyone knows 302 parts make 302 power on a 351w based engine . Gotta love sn95 accessory brackets bolting to the heads can re use my procharger setup . I’ll post pics tomorrow when I’m on days off , I gotta drive 2.5 hrs to grab the new short block .

Found another set of exports on marketplace this morning , nice thing is they’re already in Canada
