I’ve seen groups of Supercar Clubs motor by and they make themselves known, especially just north on PCH by Point Magu: Esses then a 1.5 mile straightaway. That’s where they typically open em up. The extension of the 23 south, aka Decker Cyn will test even the best skilled. Goes from the Thousand Oaks/Westlake area off the 101 fwy up and over the hill into a few choice roads that dump down into Malibu.

Not true. There are parts that don't require testing. Also, your first issue is the engine not being stock. Yeah, it's a PITA, but a referee visit ahead of time helps a lot.

I don't know what any of this has to do with 94/95 5.0 Mustangs. It's been my experience that the people with the strongest opinions about California have never been there. I was born and raised in California and maintain a lot of ties - it's got a lot of good and bad about it but real life has very little to do with the nonsense coming out of political propagandists. It's no different from folks who think New York state is nothing but the City or folks who think every rancher in Texas is white, or think every inch of Florida is mouse land and Miami.

If you ask me this thread probably belongs in the for sale section and most of the discussion on it belongs in the politics cacklebox.

Being in this business my entire life in CA, CARB rules are a real PITA to deal with, but a swap can be done, but it costs to do it. Not like the old days for sure. I was responding to the question about the entire state being controlled, which is not true. Also mentioning BAR referee prior to any "upgrade/modification" is the place to start, not after you spend $$$ hoping it's o.k. Yes, PITA and many of us, me included, search alternatives. Add in the fact these cars are almost 40yrs old makes it harder to find "like" engine related parts.

I'm going to leave this thread alone. However, when others comment so much about how bad it is here without knowing and throwing out comments, I guess it's o.k. as long as I don't respond.
